In Jade’s work, her key inspiration is the local countryside, as well as those locations which stir deep feeling or hold the key to important memories. Surrounded by beautiful countryside steeped in history, Jade’s key mission is to highlight the value of where we live and encourage people to take a moment and appreciate the natural world that we don’t own, but are a part of.

Also known as Gainsborough country, Sudbury is surrounded by beautiful scenes, including Sudbury Water Meadows, the River Stour and the old railway line from Sudbury via Melford to Bury St Edmunds.
By highlighting these spaces, it’s Jade’s hope to encourage a pause, admiration of nature, and ultimately a step away from the day-to-day obligations and tasks that distract us all from the value of the world that surrounds us.
