How do commissions work?
Step 1: Reach out
Reach out either via email or socials to enquire about completing a commission piece to ensure that I’m the right artist for you.
At this stage I’ll be asking you:
- What size a piece you would like
- If you would like this framed once complete, as this could mean that a canvas board would be best over a canvas
- What image / style you have in mind that you are looking to capture
- If you have a deadline that I need to work towards
Step 2: Quoting
Once I have all of the information required, I will provide you with a quote. This can be multiple if you would like different quotes for different sizes for comparison.
Once this has been approved I will request a 25% deposit to cover materials and secure your spot in the calendar
Step 3: Review
Once I have completed the bulk of the piece, I will send you an update to ensure that I am on the right lines and if there are any tweaks you would like. This also gives an opportunity to ask any further questions that may have arisen during the piece.
Step 4: Final review
Once the piece is complete, I will send you multiple images of the piece; close ups as well as full image. This is your chance to give any final feedback / required amends to ensure this is completed to the vision you are looking to achieve
Step 5: Delivery
Upon approval of the artwork, I will prepare this for delivery.
I deliver within 10 miles of Sudbury, Suffolk. Any further is a 45p charge per mile, or I can post, dependent on your preference.
