Daisy’s spot is the second piece in my Sudbury Meadows collection. This focusses on a location on the edge of the River Stour, close to Friar’s Meadow. My sister spends time there in the evenings occasionally to unwind after a hard day at work. Focussing on the movement caused by the breeze on the surrounding plants was key here, not only to give the feeling of what it would be like to be in this spot, but also to demonstrate the feeling of change. The idea being that even on a tough day, like nature, things always change and circulate back to a better time.

Original painting using acrylic on canvas. Edges of artwork are painted with framing hooks added to the back, to avoid the requirement for framing if that is not your preference.

All pieces are varnished to protect the vibrance of paint and longevity. However, when dusting, please refrain from using damp cloths to avoid risking the integrity of the piece.
