Arger Fen was painted after a walk I took after work with my fiancé this summer. It has been a crazy day, the sun was starting to go down slightly, and we had a wonderful time just deconstructing the day and enjoying some calm. The sun was dappling the trees where it was going through the leaves and there wasn’t a person around. I wanted to capture this sense of calm in this piece, as well as the crazy light that was coming through.

Arger Fen is a national trust site close to my home, and it really feels so magical when you go there. I hope that the feeling of that travels through this piece to you!

By combining the frame into this piece, it gives an all-encompassing look that can go straight onto a wall.

Please note, where this frame has been taken to give a new home, the back of this was originally created with a leg to allow this to lean back; therefore you can have this both as a piece on a wall, or this can also be placed on a shelf/table
