Hunstanton I – original

£125.00

Hunstanton I is the first piece in my collection of paintings dedicated to the north Norfolk coast.

Photographed in May this year, this was originally shot during the May heatwave and half term. With all of the families playing on the beach, and so much hustle and bustle opposite the rides and booths, when walking further out towards Heacham, the noise dwindled, the number of people diminished and it became a quiet, peaceful retreat – even during one of the most gorgeous days of the year!

Being surrounded by a contrast of chaotic joy and noise, and peaceful seascapes, the styling of this painting looks to mimic this, through the contrast of a peaceful scene and natural colours with pops of loud, vibrant and contrasting colour.

Acrylic on canvas

9″ x 12″

Edges painted, and hanging hooks attached to the back, so that you don’t need to frame and it will still sit comfortably on a wall without fading into the background!
