Off the Railway Line – original painting

£245.00

Off the Railway Line is the first piece in my Sudbury Meadows collection. This focusses on a location just off the disused railway line in between Sudbury and Melford. The purpose of this piece was to create a nostalgic look of the local area of Sudbury. Highlighting such a prominent track for many Sudbury residents, with a keen focus on distance and what could be around the corner was key here.

Experimenting with peaches and blues to play with mildly contrasting colours was key to provide a vibrant, glowing piece that emanates that first “summer is coming” feeling during the spring.

Original painting using acrylic on canvas. Edges of artwork are painted with framing hooks added to the back, to avoid the requirement for framing if that is not your preference.

Size: 510mm x 405mm

All pieces are varnished to protect the vibrance of paint and longevity. However, when dusting, please refrain from using damp cloths to avoid risking the integrity of the piece.
