View to Cooper’s is an original piece, dedicated to some of the land run by a local landowner. Having walked over the fields from Bulmer, Suffolk, to Castle Hedingham with a friend, we spent a lot of time in some of his fields, and his dedication to the wildlife on his land was so clear; with wild flowers, arable grazing, ample hedgerows and woodland aplenty, it’s such a stunning area that deserved a secured place in my portfolio.

Having grown up in the local area, my main aim with this piece was to capture a sense of nostalgia; where your mind’s eye makes the sky slightly bluer, the grass softer, and the horizon endless. For me, this felt like a true homage to the landscape I am lucky to call home.
