Rattlesden at Dawn
This piece was the second curated piece for a collector looking to decorate her new living room having moved into a new house. This followed a previous commission of a sunset over water. Her vision was to track the sun around the room, with this piece being on the East & the sunset piece in the West. Where she already had a midday style piece, this was really effective.
Having provided the reference photo for this piece, this was a wonderful experience, focussing on capturing that early morning mist and the lovely purple and grey tones you see at sunrise.
It was key to me to ensure I captured this accurately as the source material is a location that the collector goes past every day on her morning walk and I wanted to ensure I captured this is clear accuracy.
