Based in Suffolk, where I was raised, I am an independent Impressionist artist, with a love for landscapes, seascapes, still life and animal portraiture.
Having studied art during my formative years, this continued to be an escape during my further studies at university. Now, over a decade later, this has remained a passion of mine, where I have since explored a wide range of mediums, with my keen focus now being dedicated to acrylic painting, watercolour and ink sketching.

Having continued with art for the past decade, I am now pleased to be a full-time, self-employed artist, dedicated to capturing the world around me, with my recent key focus being on a wide range of commission pieces.
From local landscapes; to showcase the beauty that surrounds us just on our doorstep, to capturing far-away memories of special moments, being able to recreate the world around us is always a privilege.
As I move into my first year as a full-time artist, I am looking to broaden my artistic horizons further, with applications to exhibitions, securing gallery presence so that you can see my pieces more easily in person and increasing my available portfolio.
Influences
Having studied art for many years, my work is influenced by a range of different successful artists, including, but not limited to…
Monet’s way of capturing movement in still scenes has been a focal of mine over the past year. His expressive ways of mark making have had a significant impact on my style.

JMW Turner was one of my first every inspirations and remains there. As a pioneer of how light can be captured, his influence is strong across most of my landscape pieces, especially sunsets.

Although her work is typically more abstract than what I have recently been working on, Mitchell’s work with negative space and colour is something I consider in all of my compositions.
